2008 Pierre Moncuit, Cuvée Nicole VV Blanc de Blancs 'Les Chétillons' Extra Brut, Grand Cru
2008 Pierre Moncuit, Cuvée Nicole VV Blanc de Blancs 'Les Chétillons' Extra Brut, Grand Cru
Champagne, France
The 2008 Pierre Moncuit Cuvée Nicole is made from 90+ year-old Chardonnay vines in the prized Les Chétillons vineyard of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Aged 15 years on the lees with a low 3 g/L dosage, it shows layered notes of citrus peel, fresh fig, sourdough, and salted butter. Creamy and precise on the palate, it finishes with vibrant chalky minerality and long, salty elegance.
