Château La Conseillante, situated in Pomerol, Bordeaux, boasts a rich history dating back to the mid-18th century. Founded by Catherine Conseillan, the estate was acquired by the Nicolas family in 1871, who have maintained stewardship across generations. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It presents a deep garnet-purple hue and offers aromas of roses, candied violets, warm red and black plums, chocolate box, and baked cherries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with polished, velvety tannins, culminating in a long, expressive finish.
