2018 Philip Togni, ‘Spring Mountain Estate’ Cabernet Sauvignon

Philip Togni has spent over 60 years making benchmark wines worldwide, and his Napa estate Cabernet Sauvignon has been considered iconic for over two decades. Originally from an Italian Swiss family, Togni's career shifted from geology to winemaking after falling in love with wine during a trip to Spain. He later founded Philip Togni Vineyard on Spring Mountain in Napa in the late 1970s, producing small-batch, age-worthy wines that reflect their unique terroir. Now working alongside his daughter Lisa, Togni continues to produce wines that have earned critical acclaim, including recognition from Robert Parker and a victory in a reenactment of The Judgment of Paris in Brussels.
