2018 Torbreck, ‘The Steading’
2018 Torbreck, ‘The Steading’
South Australia, Australia
Torbreck 'The Steading’ is a distinguished red blend from Australia's Barossa Valley, combining 51% Grenache, 28% Shiraz, and 21% Mataro. This wine is crafted from some of the region's oldest vines, many over a century old, that survived both the phylloxera outbreak of the 1880s and the vine-pull scheme of the 1980s. The 2021 vintage benefited from a mild summer with even temperatures, resulting in wines with high aromatic lift, dense color, and exceptional balance
