2020 Aplanta Alentejo is a soulful red blend from Portugal’s sun-drenched Alentejo region, crafted by Vinos del Atlántico to celebrate community and terroir. Made from 80% Aragonez (Tempranillo) and 20% Alicante Bouschet, the grapes come from a unique community vineyard in Aldeia da Luz—relocated during the Alqueva dam project—and grown in schist and sandy loam soils at around 250 m elevation.

In the glass, it offers deep garnet hues with lush aromas of blueberry, plum, and red cherry, subtly underscored by slate minerality. On the palate, you’ll discover a juicy core of red and dark berries wrapped in touches of fresh tobacco, black pepper, and spice—supple and refreshing, with a balanced finish.
