2020 Château d'Armailhac, 5eme Grand Cru Classé, Paulliac
Bordeaux, France
Previously known as Château Mouton-Baron-Philippe, it was renamed Château d’Armailhac in 1989, restoring its original family name. The vineyard covers around 70 hectares, planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Château d’Armailhac is one of the most elegant and approachable Pauillac wines, offering great value and a taste of Rothschild winemaking at a more accessible price. It is a classic Pauillac, balancing power and refinement, with a vibrant fruit core, fine tannins, and a long finish.
