The estate became a pioneer in modern Sicilian winemaking, emphasizing quality, sustainability, and storytelling through its wines. The 2020 Donnafugata Mille e Una Notte is an iconic Sicilian red blend, predominantly made from Nero d'Avola, with other indigenous and international varieties. It boasts intense aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, layered with notes of sweet spices, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, elegant finish. This wine is a symbol of Sicilian excellence, offering great complexity and aging potential.
