The 2021 Montes Purple Angel is a bold and expressive Chilean red, blending 92% Carménère with 8% Petit Verdot from the Apalta and Marchigüe vineyards in Colchagua Valley. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (70% new), it offers a rich tapestry of ripe blackberry, plum, and blueberry aromas, complemented by notes of sweet spices, dark chocolate, and mocha. On the palate, it's full-bodied and structured, with soft, ample tannins and a long, elegant finish, making it a standout expression of Chile's flagship Carménère.
