2021 Bella Vita, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo

Bella Vita Montepulciano is made in partnership with the historic Cantine Volpi, a family-run winery with roots in Piedmont dating back to 1914. The grapes are grown organically in the coastal hills of Abruzzo’s Chieti province, where old vines thrive in calcareous soils mixed with clay and gravel - the perfect conditions for rich, structured reds. Just 15 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, the vineyards benefit from cooling breezes that help the fruit ripen slowly and evenly.

This Montepulciano is deeply colored and generous, with aromas of black cherry, wild herbs, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it’s juicy and savory, with notes of licorice, pepper, and a clean, mineral finish. It’s a bold but balanced red - made with care from vine to bottle.
