The 2021 Bodegas LAN Crianza is a red wine from Spain's Rioja region, predominantly crafted from Tempranillo (93%), complemented by Garnacha (5%) and Mazuelo (2%). The grapes are sourced from 10 to 20-year-old vines in the Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa subzones, characterized by sloped plots with calcareous-clay soils that ensure good drainage and optimal sun exposure. After fermentation, the wine undergoes aging for 14 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, followed by 9 months of bottle maturation prior to release.
