On the palate, it balances richness with a taut minerality, thanks to fermentation and aging in large, neutral Viennese oak casks on fine lees for nearly a year. The Stadlmann family, now in its eighth generation, has been cultivating vines since 1780, with Bernhard Stadlmann continuing the legacy by focusing on indigenous varieties like Rötgipfler and practicing organic viticulture to express the unique character of their limestone-rich soils.
