The 2022 Boyer-Martenot Meursault ‘Charmes’ 1er Cru is rich and expansive, showing layered notes of baked pear, almond cream, and subtle toast, supported by a long, mineral finish. Sourced from 40+ year-old vines in deep clay-limestone soils, it is aged in 30% new oak followed by time in concrete eggs to enhance texture and purity. The estate has remained in the same family for four generations, with current winemaker Vincent Boyer continuing the legacy of minimal-intervention winemaking begun by his great-grandmother Lucie just after World War II.
