2022 Brezza, Dolcetto d’Alba

This is Dolcetto with serious pedigree—organically grown on a prime southwest-facing vineyard in Barolo (yes, Barolo!) where sandy soils and great drainage bring out gorgeous perfume and fruit. While Dolcetto usually gets the short end of the vineyard stick, this 1991-planted site gives it a real chance to shine. Fermented naturally and aged in concrete, it’s pure, vibrant, and full of character, with no fluff or frills—just honest, soulful winemaking. Made by Enzo Brezza, the fourth-generation winemaker at one of Barolo’s most revered traditional estates, this bottle is a must for lovers of old-school charm with new-school attention to the vineyard.
