The 2022 Domaine Jacques Prieur Meursault 'Clos de Mazeray' Monopole Blanc offers aromas of candied citrus, dried apricot, and subtle spice, leading to a textured palate with crisp acidity and a mineral finish. Sourced from a 2.87-hectare walled vineyard on the outskirts of Meursault, the wine is fermented and aged entirely in oak barrels for 18 months, with full malolactic fermentation. Clos de Mazeray has been under the exclusive ownership of Domaine Jacques Prieur since 1889, when it was acquired by Claude Duvergey, and its origins trace back to the monks of Cîteaux, who established the vineyard centuries earlier.
