2023 Bodegas LAN, Rueda Verdejo

Bodegas LAN Verdejo is a distinguished white wine from Spain’s Rueda DO, crafted entirely from Verdejo grapes. This inaugural release is the result of a collaboration between winemakers Olga Tormo, who has a deep understanding of Rueda’s terroir, and María Barúa, who brings LAN’s signature elegance to the wine. The wine showcases a bright straw-yellow color with intense greenish hues, a reflection of its fresh and vibrant character. On the nose, it offers complex aromas of white fruits, such as pear and citrus, complemented by mineral notes and subtle hints of aniseed. The palate is broad and full-bodied, with a creamy texture that is balanced by lively acidity, leading to a refreshing and lingering finish.
