The 2023 Favaro Erbaluce di Caluso “Le Chiusure” comes from a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Canavese area, where the Favaro family has specialized in the native Erbaluce grape since the early 1990s. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel with extended lees contact to enhance texture and complexity. The wine offers bright flavors of green apple, pear, and citrus zest, layered with floral notes and a subtle almond finish. Crisp acidity and a mineral edge give it both freshness and depth, making it a standout Italian white.
