Named after Cesare Pavese’s beloved novel La Luna e i Falò, this Barbera comes from the hills of Asti in Piedmont, where the grape has long been part of everyday life and local tradition. The name itself evokes Pavese’s stories of home, memory, and the landscape of his native Piedmont, making this a wine with a wonderful sense of place before you even pull the cork. Made from Barbera and given the “Superiore” designation, it has a little more depth and structure than the region’s lighter expressions, while retaining the grape’s naturally vibrant character.
