In 1992, Eric Bordelet returned to Normandy to transform his family’s orchards into a world-class cider estate, inspired by his friend Didier Dageneau. Treating cider like fine wine, he crafts complex, artisanal expressions from heirloom apples and pears, revolutionizing the industry by introducing them to high-end restaurants and wine shops. His organically and biodynamically farmed orchards span 15 hectares, featuring 20 apple and 14 pear varieties, carefully balanced between sweet, bitter, and sour profiles. With deep respect for tradition and terroir, Bordelet continues to push boundaries, crafting exceptional ciders that rival the finest wines.
