2025 Masseria dei Carmelitani, Gavi di Gavi

Masseria dei Carmelitani takes its name from a historic estate once connected to the Carmelite monks, set among the rolling hills of Gavi in Italy’s Piedmont. Today, the estate is dedicated to expressing the character of Cortese, the local grape behind Gavi, with an emphasis on preserving the freshness and elegance that make the region’s wines so distinctive. The 2025 vintage is bright and inviting, with aromas of white flowers, pear, lemon, and a gentle hint of almond. On the palate, it is crisp and beautifully balanced, with a refreshing mineral character and a soft, lingering finish. A lovely example of Gavi that captures both the charm of the Piedmontese countryside and the understated elegance of Cortese.
