Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky

Amrut is one of the most highly internationally regarded Indian whisky producers, and this is their flagship Single Malt. The distillery is located in Bengaluru in southern India, meaning that the whisky undergoes humid, tropical heat as it ages in oak. This lets the spirit soak deep into the ex-bourbon casks and reach maturity relatively quickly. In the glass, this single malt displays a lot of sweeter barley notes, along with clove honey and spiced fruitcake.
