Casco Viejo Tequila Blanco

Mexican-owned and produced from the excellent Gran Dinastía distillery, Casco Viejo is the Camarena family's more affordable label for good clean tequila, for mixing or drinking straight. The agave used is estate-grown in Los Altos, so the distillery oversees production all the way from the fields to the bottle. 

The Blanco undergoes some charcoal filtration before bottling, which contributes to it's light, smooth body. Nose: nice, bright lime and white pineapple, sugar cane grassiness. Palate is minerally and white pepper, finish is a little perfumey and lemon rind.
