Mijenta, Reposado Tequila
Mijenta, Reposado Tequila
Jalisco, Mexico
Led by Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero, Mijenta Tequila focuses on sustainability and craftsmanship. Their agave is grown in the highlands where the soil has a high iron content, leading to a pronounced mineral note in the spirit.
This reposado spends 6-8 months in a blend of American oak, cherry, and acacia casks, so there's real complexity to the more honeyed, pastry notes that you'll find on the nose and palate. Think of marmalade, hay, and a warm lingering finish.
