Pinhook Flagship Bourbon Whiskey (200ml)

Pinhook was founded in 2010 by accomplished barman and sommelier Sean Josephs to release yearly batches of whiskey that are showing the best at their age. It's a quality-over-consistency philosophy (as their back label states: "The best, not the same, whiskey every year").

The 2025 Flagship 'Orange Wax' Bourbon has a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye, 10% malted barley from Castle & Key Distillery. The bourbon is at least 3 years old (although does not feature an age statement), with notes of cornbread, praline, and cinnamon red hots. It's 100 proof so a drop or two of water will open it up for sipping, but this is a classic profile for cocktail work too.
